Free eye check-up camp and cataract lens surgery camp

In collaboration with Sassoon Hospital, Pune, Shri Upasani Kanyakumari Sthan, Sakuri and Samata Foundation

1) Patients participating in the camp will be given free screening and appropriate counseling guidance by an ophthalmologist.
2) Patients found with cataracts in the camp will undergo free surgery at Sassoon Hospital, Pune.
3) Accommodation, food, and black glasses will be provided free of cost for patients undergoing cataract surgery.
4) Arrangements will be made to transport patients free of cost.
5) The patients will be taken to Sassoon Hospital, Pune for surgery on the day of the camp itself.
6) Patients should take a bath over their head and wear clean clothes when coming for surgery.
7) Female patients should remove bangles and other ornaments and men should shave when they come and not bring valuables with them.
8) When coming for surgery, patients should bring comb, oil, soap, one meal, water, and a pair of clean clothes.
9) While coming for surgery, patients should bring the original ration card and original Aadhaar card as well as the mobile number of the relatives and Aadhaar card xerox copy.
